What is coaching?

The International Coaching Federation (ICF) defines coaching as “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential”. Coaching focuses on “how” clients can achieve their goals.

What is Core Energy Coaching?

Core Energy Coaching(TM) is a process that helps bring out the potential in a client by emotionally connecting the client’s inner purpose and passion to goals and strategies. We “coach from the inside out” by recognizing that true transformational change starts from within you!

What is the difference between you and a life coach?

My coaching focuses on your career. Life coaching could focus on a range of things in your personal life and could include dating, travel or fitness.

What are examples of internal transitions?

Internal transitions are things that you initiate. These transitions usually start with a “gut feeling” that you need a change. That could be a change in your role, company, industry or a new certification or degree. Coaching helps identify where this “gut feeling” is coming from and what thoughts or feelings might get in the way of you pursuing this change. I help clients find a path forward that feels aligned with their values and sense of self.

What are examples of external transitions?

External transitions are those that feel like they are happening to us. This could be broad changes in your organization or industry, being moved to a new department, changes in your leadership, new technology (AI/ML), or general concern about job security. Coaching helps understand why these changes feel the way they do and find things within your control that will help you navigate the transition.
